Kitchen Renovation

South Langley

This busy family in South Langley had budgeted for not having access to their kitchen, during the renovation. By repurposing the existing dining room into a kitchen, we improved the overall flow of the main floor. The family never lost access to their kitchen as the dining room was renovated into the new kitchen, before the existing kitchen was touched, saving the family both money and frustration.

To repurpose both the kitchen and the dining area, we removed and reinstalled everything. All new cabinets, paint, floors, lighting, we even turned a window into a doorway. By reinstalling everything our clients knew their home was truly bespoke.

Interior
Design

The new kitchen needed a fundamental redesign, to both maximise functionality and balance the available space. During the redesign we added a door to the backyard, to provide extra light and improve functionality for the entire family.

Architecture & Structural

To turn the dining room into a kitchen, we needed to add amenities that weren’t readily available. Plumbing and electrical were redirected, and ventilation was added. Similarly when we turned the old kitchen into a dining room, we had to perform controlled demolition to safely remove existing structures.
